But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:7-10 (ESV)

Testimonial from previous event:

Early Bird Video:
6:00 PM:   David Menton's  Three Ways to Make an Apeman DVD (55 minutes)

Only the award-winning Dr. David Menton can take a human skeleton and a table covered with skulls, and immediately make them fun for the average home-schooler.  With his trademark wit, this world-class anatomist debunks popular ape-to-man skull restorations.  See "hard evidence" that confirms the truth of the Bible.  We are NOT evolved apes!

You can't beat this deal!  MAC is giving away a number of these DVDs to those in attendance on Monday.

Main Event:

7:00 PM:   Marv Schaefer   What Does the Bible Say About Creation?

The creation account in the Book of Genesis is foundational to everything we believe as Christians.  In this presentation, we will examine five key things that Scripture says about creation, and will answer some important questions regarding the implications of man’s fall into sin.

About our speaker:

Marv graduated St. Louis University in 1973 with a Bachelors degree in Marketing.  He currently serves as President of the Missouri Association for Creation and is the Chairman of the Speakers Bureau.  His interest in the Creation/Evolution debate was kindled in 2004 when his 5th grade daughter was laughed at by her classmates and dismissed by her teacher for not believing that the earth is billions of years old.  Since that time Marv has become a diligent student of Biblical Creation and the inherent flaws of the theory of evolution.

Marv attended Creation College hosted by Answers in Genesis in the summer of 2006 and alongside fellow MAC Speaker's Bureau member Scott Jarus has taught several 13 week courses on Biblical Creation.  Marv uses both absurdity and humor to press important points in his presentations. They are entertaining and thought-provoking for young adults as well as long-time believers

Future events:
After being hosted by many various area ministry locations (many thanks to Family Vision Library, Affton Grace, Hope Congregational Church, Concordia Lutheran - Maplewood, and others!) while Gateway had some major construction projects, MAC returned in August to Gateway Christian Church on the second Monday of each month (with rare exceptions).  Visit our website or watch for meeting email notices for times and details.
